Testimonials
We can’t thank Leigh enough for the work she has done on our show dogs. She has been a part of the team along with VJP Veterinary Rehab who have worked together to help us keep our dogs in the best shape possible to achieve Best Puppy in breed at Crufts 2023 and a Show Champion. Both of them have superb movement which wouldn’t be as good if she didn’t show so much dedication to her patients.
Leigh plays a crucial part in keeping my show jumping horse fit and healthy, and able to perform at his best. Not only does she treat him regularly but she always recommends exercises to complement her work as well as suggesting different ways of schooling and riding at home to make sure he gets the best out of every treatment. Leigh’s level of care and attention to detail is second to none and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to improve their horse’s soundness and performance.
For the past few years I have worked alongside Leigh Miller in my role as a canine physiotherapist / hydrotherapist on a number of cases. Leigh has always been a pleasure to work alongside; her professionalism, knowledge and skill has always exceptionally benefited the patients in her care. When collaborating on cases I always find Leigh very approachable and I highly value her opinion and expertise.
Leigh is crucial to the well being and mobility of my Jack Russel Obi as he ages – he can move so much better now with his regular treatments and can continue to play catch (which is his life!). He is also enjoys every single moment of his sessions with Leigh, she is very calming and kind. Leigh also treats my two horse oldies – Red (27) and Knobby (22). They both feel amazing after a treatment, she is keeping them young – her knowledge and expertise is something I value so highly as she always knows exactly what is going on with their bodies. We are very lucky to have her! I cannot speak highly enough of Leigh.
We have been privileged to have Leigh at Harroway for the past 5 years. I credit her with helping me transform all the horses in my care, particularly my retired racehorses into happy comfortable riding horses. She is an integral part of the team and I would be lost without her. Her incredible knowledge coupled with her sensible, practical, approach is priceless.
We have been taking our dog, Gizmo to Leigh for the last 2 years. We were recommended Leigh by a friend and can’t imagine where we would be without her. Gizmo is a 15 year old Pharaoh Hound, and we know that without Leigh’s expertise, help and support he wouldn’t be with us today. After 2 Vestibular attacks, Leigh’s treatment was essential to getting him back on track. She is so incredibly knowledgable, and her kind and caring nature shines through whilst she is working on him. For a dog who is not particularly trusting, he is completely at ease with Leigh, and trusts her implicitly. When we leave after the treatment, you can immediately see the difference in his movement. We cannot recommend Leigh highly enough – we would not take Gizmo anywhere else!
Leigh has been incredibly helpful and dedicated in the treatment of Niklas’ back pain (GSD) caused by his sport activities and initially unidentified repetitive muscle injury. Following treatment, Niklas’ movement improved significantly, and the long term objective is to keep him mobile and pain free. Niklas is not an “easy” dog to treat; and I am very grateful for Leigh to be up to the challenge. Leigh is incredibly knowledgeable and she has my full trust. Thank you Leigh, Vera.
I have worked with Leigh for nearly 10 years with horses in all disciplines. Her practical and clinical skills are superb and I regularly recommend her to my clients. One aspect that stands out is that she provides the same attention to detail and care equally to all horses – whether they are going to the Olympics or pony club camp! Furthermore she provides very sensible and appropriate advice relating to exercise and rehabilitation regimes. I can’t recommend Leigh highly enough!
I can’t commend Leigh highly enough for her ability to gently ‘tweek’ an animal’s body back into balance following an injury or for a chronic musculoskeletal condition. I well remember how she found that one of my dogs was affected in many parts of her body, following a road traffic collision. I could mend her broken leg, but it was Leigh who completed the treatment. I’ve heard she’s rather good with horses, too!
Leigh is an integral part of my team. She has been treating my horses for over ten years and the difference she has made to their performance in that time is fantastic. She treats them once a month and it is incredibly important for their overall well-being and more importantly their soundness and longevity.
For the last 14 years, Leigh has treated our horses both at home and at events. She is an invaluable part of the team, helping to keep the horses in top form and enabling them to reach their athletic potential. We think that she is the best in the business and would not hesitate to recommend her.
